Energy disturbances are located using a series of hand movements to scan the field or aura which surrounds the human body; this energy field reflects the current state of health of an individual. After scanning the energy field and locating any physical imbalances, the therapist can also detect emotional, mental or spiritual imbalances.

Many patients report feeling of heat, tingling, coolness or a pulling sensation as the body detoxifies and releases stagnant energy, some patients may experience a short- term increase in the severity of their symptoms, which is actually a positive sign and can be seen as a prelude to the full return of health.

Dreamland Cottage is owned and operated by Lynn Buffington (an American Reiki Master) and Gerard Leahy (an internationally renowned healer/therapist).

Reiki (an ancient form of healing), bio-energy healing, aromatherapy, massage therapy and counseling are available on site.

Another series of hand movements is used to release and correct these imbalances. Experience has shown that this cannot be accomplished in one session. Four treatments over four consecutive days, in a relaxed and private environment, are recommended.
